We believe that there is a large group of people who do not have easy access to purchasing prescription eye wear that is inexpensive.Some of these people live in rural areas where there is limited or no brick and mortar vision establishments. Some of these areas may have only one source that is convenient to visit, but that source only carries expensive eye wear. There are even areas where several optometrists, opticians and ophthalmologists practice, but none of them deal with lower price optical laboratories. In addition, the managed care environment in the U.S.A. encourages higher prices among these practitioners, practically coercing them into NOT offering discounted lines of frames or lenses.
Simplens.com was created to address this problem by offering high quality lenses at low prices. The home page is our first attempt to help alleviate this problem. We plan to add an inexpensive frame line in the near future, so be sure to bookmark this site for future updates.
